U-mobile Prepaid


Course to Start service
Activation, which is usually needed, is unnecessary. After purchasing the package, insert the SIM into your device, set the APN and the service can start being used immediately.


Remove the part containing IC (integrated circuit) of the SIM card that was purchased and insert it into the device.


Please make APN setting according to the enclosed instruction manual, and you can use after completing set up.

Some devices may not be compatible with U-mobile.Please check the operation confirmed devices list.

*1 The service period is 7 or 15 days starting from the day after the first connection is made.
*2 220MB/day. Speed goes down to 200kbps once it reaches 220MB/day until 11:59PM that day. The limination will be lifted the following day.

Q How much data capacity can be used? A 220 MB a day can be used. If 220 MB is used, the speed will drop to 200 kbps for the rest of the day. Q Where can I buy it? A It is available at the locations specified in "Check 3 Sales Locations". Q Tell me the procedure to start using the service. A After purchasing the package, insert the SIM card into your device and after changing the APN settings, the service can be used. Q Can it be refilled? A It is not possible to do additional charging. Also, the U-mobile My Page and U-mobile applications are not available either. Q How do I cancel the contract? A There is no procedures for the customer to do that. Each plan will be automatically cancelled after the assigned service period expires.


  • U-mobile JPN Prepaid (hereafter referred to as "the service"), is a mobile data communication service available for NTT Docomo's XI® and FOMA® area.
  • When the expiration date of [the first activation] on the package has passed, you can't use it.
  • The following day of the first connection will be the first day of the 7 or 15 days usage period.
  • It is not possible to return the package or obtain a refund once the payment corresponding to the purchase of the package has been made, no matter whether or not the service has been applied for.
  • It is not possible to change the size of the SIM card (micro/nano) once the package has been purchased.
  • It is not possible to change the plan once the package has been purchased.
  • It is not possible to use SMS with this service.
  • The SIM card is lent from our company to the user in order for them to use the service. It is forbidden to modify the SIM card in any way such as cutting the SIM card. Also, once the service period is complete the SIM card must be returned. Return address for the SIM card:

  • This SIM card is for data communication only. It cannot be used for voice communication.
